The Week of Giving

The leaves are falling and the Holidays are right around the corner. All of us at Sinclair want to make a difference and give back to the community that already gives so much to us. For our Week of Giving, WNIS, 96X, 93.7 BOB-FM, Talk Radio 96.5/850 WTAR, and US106.1 are joining forces to support and bring awareness to five incredible local charities: CHKD, Eggleston Services, We Promise Foundation, The Salvation Army, and The Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia. Each weekday from Monday Dec 1st through Friday Dec 5th, we will be featuring one of these amazing charities.

Monday, Dec. 1st, is Chartway Promise Foundation
Tuesday, Dec. 2nd is The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command
Wednesday, Dec. 3rd is Eggleston
Thursday, Dec. 4th is the Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters
Friday, Dec. 5th, is the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore

DAY 1 - December 1st

Chartway Promise Foundation

The Chartway Promise Foundation strengthens the communities they serve by partnering with companion charities to fund memorable experiences for medically fragile children and their families. Please consider donating at chartwaypromisefoundation.org.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Hampton Roads Area Command is committed to providing service and love to those in need this Christmas and beyond. DAY 3 - December 3rd

Eggleston

Let’s support Eggleston. Since 1955, Eggleston has provided education, training, and employment for adults with disabilities in Hampton Roads. Eggleston gives individuals with disabilities the access, support, and opportunities they need to live empowered lives. Visit egglestonservices.org to donate.

DAY 4 - December 4th

CHKD

You can make a real difference for local kids and families by supporting Children’s Hospital of The Kings Daughters. Head to chkd.org/givingday to make a gift to CHKD and help bring health, healing, and hope to all children in Hampton Roads.

DAY 5 - December 5th

The Foodbank

We want to support the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore. Let’s ensure that no one goes without access to nutritious food, not just during the holidays but every day.
