Submit a photo of your pet March 16th through April 10th for a chance to win $250 cash and a prize basket from Madison Jewelers filled with treats and toys.
Once submissions close, listeners will vote online to choose their favorite pet. Voting runs April 13 through April 24, and the winning pet will be announced April 27.

Contest Rules
1. Contest Timeline
The 11th Annual Pet Idol Contest will run according to the following schedule:
- Submission Period: March 16, 2026 – April 10, 2026
- Voting Period: April 13, 2026 – April 24, 2026
- Winner Announcement: April 27, 2026
All times are Eastern Time.
2. Eligibility
Contest is open to legal residents of the Hampton Roads area who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of BOB-FM, Sinclair Communications, participating sponsors, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. How to Enter
During the submission period, listeners may enter by:
- Visiting 937bobfm.com/contests
- Submitting a photo of their pet through the official contest entry form
Limit one entry per person per pet. Multiple entries may be disqualified at the discretion of station management.
Photos must feature the entrant’s pet and must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or copyrighted material. BOB-FM reserves the right to reject any submission.
4. Voting
Once submissions close, approved entries will be posted on the BOB-FM website.
Listeners may vote for their favorite pet during the voting period. Voting is subject to monitoring and verification. The station reserves the right to remove fraudulent or automated votes.
5. Winner Selection
The pet receiving the highest number of verified votes at the end of the voting period will be declared the winner.
The winning entrant will be contacted using the contact information provided at the time of entry.
6. Prize
The grand prize includes:
- $250 cash
- A gift basket from Madison Jewelers filled with treats and toys
Prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for other prizes.
7. Publicity
By entering the contest, participants grant BOB-FM permission to use their name, pet’s name, submitted photo, and likeness for promotional purposes on-air, online, and on social media without additional compensation.
8. General Conditions
BOB-FM reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the contest if technical issues, fraud, or other factors compromise the integrity of the contest.
All decisions by station management are final.
9. Release of Liability
Participants agree to release and hold harmless 93.7 BOB-FM, Sinclair Communications, contest sponsors, and their affiliates from any claims or liability related to participation in the contest or acceptance of the prize.
