Meet Jake
Jake the Intern is the new kid in town here at BOB FM, but he’s made himself at home pretty quickly! A long-time Hampton Roads native, and a recent graduate of Longwood University’s Cormier Honors College, Jake the Intern can be heard every Saturday and Sunday on BOB FM from 10 AM to 6 PM. He is a big fan of all different kinds of music, including pop, rock, and hip hop, which makes him a perfect fit for this station!
Jake is a huge pop culture buff, so don’t be surprised if you hear him spouting random facts during his show. He loves watching all different types of movies and TV shows, and discovering new music from all genres. Jake is also a big-time thrifter, and he loves exploring new places, businesses, and restaurants within Hampton Roads! Some of his favorite 757 hotspots include City Center in Newport News, Colonial Williamsburg, and, of course, the Virginia Beach Oceanfront!
