May The Odds Be Ever In Our Favor!

Well they certainly are not the Hunger Games, but man are the stakes high for our Amazing Admirals. Norfolk begins their quest for the Calder Cup when the AHL Eastern Playoffs get underway this Friday and Saturday night at Scope. The Admirals, riding a professional hockey record 28-game winning streak host the Manchester Monarchs to open the best of five opening series.

Friday night, join me at Scope as Bob-FM night will bring you a shot at some cool stuff. Keep listening for your shot at free tickets on Bob-FM. Just tune into me in the morning, Holly during the No-Repeat 9-5 Workday, and on your drive home with Jay West.

Oddly, even though the Admirals are sporting the best record in the entire AHL, granting them home-ice advantage for the entire playoffs, we actually will have to win the series on the road, even if we win the first two at home. Scope is tied up for the Virginia Arts Festival's International Tattoo, so what I'm saying is DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE TO MAKE SOME NOISE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!

Tickets are available online at http://www.norfolkadmirals.com. Our boys are ARMED AND READY to continue this streak and bring the Calder Cup back to Norfolk! If you can't make it, follow me on Twitter @TheGameWorden. I'll keep you up to date on the game as we go! Come on! Join me at Scope this weekend, and look for the Bob-FM table on the concourse inside to pick up some cool Bob schwag.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
